Annual Black History Month breakfast held by Klein

On Saturday, February 27, Senator Jeff Klein hosted his 21st annual Black History Month breakfast at Villa Barone Manor. For the celebratory event, Klein highlighted the contributions of outstanding African Americans including Betty Campbell Adams, owner of Lloyd’s Carrot Cake; Gregory Floyd, president of Local 37 Teamsters; Geraldine Hopper, president of the Clason Point Tenant Association; Danielle Davis Marrow, principal of the Pennington School in Mount Vernon; Derek Powell, New York City Housing Authority deputy director of Bronx Property Management Department and Keith Walton, captain of the 49th Precinct.
