Monday, November 23, 2015, 4:00 a.m. — The suspect, armed with a gun, walked into the grocery store located at 45 Elliot Avenue and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied and the suspects fled. There were no reported injuries. The suspect is described as a male black.

Tuesday, September 22, 2015, 10:30 p.m. — A suspect approached the 20-year-old female victim as she was walking in the vicinity of Harding Avenue and Prentiss Avenue and engaged her in conversation by asking her for the time. The suspect then proceeded to ask the victim for a sexual favor. When the victim declined, the suspect put the victim into a bear hug and after releasing her, grabbed her buttocks with both hands and fled.

Friday, October 16, 2015 4:30 a.m. — Three suspects drove up to 181 City Island Avenue in a white U-Haul van and a dark colored SUV. They removed a 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle.

Friday, October 16, 2015, 7:37 p.m. — Police responded to a call of a pedestrian struck at the intersection of Lane and Tremont Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 58 year-old male unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.

Initial investigation revealed that the pedestrian walked to the front of a 2010 Toyota, which was parked legally in a marked spot and was unoccupied. The pedestrian apparently fell in front of the vehicle and remained there in a sitting position, with his back to the front bumper. The operator of the Toyota apparently entered his vehicle from the rear, started it and pulled out of the parking spot. The operator ran over the pedestrian with his front tires before coming to a stop. The Toyota and its driver remained at the scene. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing by the NYPD’s Collision Squad

November 1, 2015, 5:50 p.m. — A 16-year-old female, was with her mother walking up the stairs to her apartment, inside of a building in the vicinity of Frisby Avenue and Overing Street, when a suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The suspect then fled the scene. The suspect was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and glasses.

Sunday, November 22, 2015, 3:40 a.m. — Two males were stabbed multiple times by a group of males who exited a gray vehicle. The attack occurred near 3571 E. Tremont Avenue. A 38-year-old male sustained lacerations to the right side of his body, his right arm and his back and neck. A second victim, a 46-year old male, sustained injury to his head.

An arrest was made on November 22 at 7:15 p.m. A 27-year-old was charged with Attempted Murder, Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
