Through the generosity of the students at Cardinal Spellman High School, Christmas was a little merrier for over 200 children thanks to the school’s Annual Give-A-Gift Program. With the organization and hard work of student government, many needy children received clothing and toys this Christmas. Six charitable organizations provided the names of children, along with their ages and sizes, to student government. Senators coordinated the information with homerooms, and everyone worked to provide each child with clothing and toys specially purchased for him or her. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, gifts were individually wrapped and personally addressed to each child. Ms. Rosado and the executive committee of the student government sorted and organized more than 425 presents.
