New renderings have been unveiled for 5 Cottage, a 26-story residential tower that will mark the second phase of the AVE Hamilton Green development in White Plains.
Located at the former site of the White Plains Mall, 5 Cottage, located at 5 Cottage Pl., along with the 12-story residential tower 25 Cottage, located at 25 Cottage Pl., will bring 477 new rental units to White Plains.
The new renderings were released by the real estate and infrastructure firm RXR and real estate investor Korman Communities, who are working on creating the development. These renderings come as the construction of 25 Cottage nears completion. Construction of 5 Cottage is expected to wrap up in the third quarter of 2025.
The 25 Cottage tower is already complete and has apartments ranging in size from studios to two-bedroom units, while the apartments at 5 Cottage range from studios to three-bedroom units, including penthouses and live-work lofts. Of the 477 total units, 170 will be in Cottage 25 and 307 are in Cottage 5. Leasing is already underway at Cottage 5. At Cottage 25, 85% of the units have already been leased.
Planned amenities at the AVE Hamilton Green development include a fitness center with studio and spa spaces, an indoor pool, a lounge, a co-working space, high-speed WiFi, a hot beverage station and an outdoor terrace with grills and lounge seating. The towers will also be pet-friendly and feature a dog washing station and an indoor dog run.
Within close proximity to the upcoming development is the White Plains Metro-North train station, which services the Harlem line. There are also bus stops in the area for the 0001, 0003, 0005, 0006, 0011, 0012, 0013, 0014, 0015, 0017, 0020, 0021, 0062, 0080, 0081, 0082, 0083, 0085, H03, H05, 971 and OWL lines.
Other notable features nearby include Fusion Academy Westchester, the White Plains Public Library and the White Plains Performing Arts Center.
