Permits have been filed for the construction of a 6-story residential building with 16 housing units at 1780 Topping Ave. in the Mount Hope neighborhood of the Bronx.
The proposed building would be 59 feet tall and yield 9,384 square feet of space. With an average unit scope of 586 square feet, the 16 residences will most likely be rentals.
Other planned features of the property include a cellar and a rear yard 30 feet in length. The 174th Street-175th Street subway station, which services the B and D trains, is located nearby. There are also bus stops in the area for the Bx1, Bx2, Bx32, Bx36 and Bx41 lines.

The building application were submitted by Cezar Haxhari of Cezar H LLC. According to the application, the architect of record is Jakov Saric of Node Architecture, Engineering, Consulting P.C.
Demolition permits were filed in February 2025. An estimated completion date of the project has not yet been provided.
