Steve’s Metro Cabinet was founded in 1988 with a simple idea: to build high quality, custom-made cabinets at affordable prices. Over the last 25 years we have had the pleasure of serving the greater New York City metropolitan area for all of its custom-made furniture needs. Our custom-made cabinetry includes: wall units, kitchens, beds, vanities, radiator covers, desks, window benches, home/office entertainment units, tables, French doors, storage units, closets, countertops, and moldings. Because we cater to each client’s specifications, each piece of furniture is unique. To that end, we hand-craft all of our work in our Long Island City, New York factory. I wanted the kitchen cabinets to be inset and nearly all drawers versus door cabinets so they needed to be precise. The kitchen is large with 12ft ceilings and Steve worked with me closely on the design to make sure everything would look proportional in the room. He even helped design a tall pantry with spice racks on the inside of the doors to add extra storage space. I’m very happy with the product and and I’d be more than willing to provide photos for anyone who wants to see his work.
