Jane Sanders Architect

Since starting her own business in 1997, Jane has completed more than 15 residential renovation projects in New York City. Projects have included combining apartments, kitchen and bath renovations, and townhouse renovations.

Jane spent 12 years at Jan Hird Pokorny Associates, a well-established firm specializing in historic preservation and adaptive reuse. She gained extensive experience in building restoration, new construction, code compliance, obtaining approvals from the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission, and coordinating the installation of new mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems in historic buildings.

Jane has recently completed training in Passive House, a methodology for producing extremely energy efficient buildings with superior indoor air quality.
