Silver Beach Hosts Labor Day Weekend Games
Silver Beach boys waited eagerly for the judges to review their entry in the Sand Castle Building Competition.
Silver Beach residents of all ages had a blast celebrating their neighborhood’s Labor Day Weekend sports competition from Friday, August 30 through Sunday, September 1. The sportingly good time featured swimming and kayak races, a sand castle contest, orange gathering, tug-of-war, egg toss, rock putt, a triathlon, go cart races, Yenchik Long Distance and Noonan Half Mile run, volleyball, horseshoes, adult and kids corn hole tournament, a scavenger hunt, a movie night and golf.
Local youth enjoyed a fun game of Tug of War on the beach.
