Local elected officials and community leaders had fun at the police-community partnership celebration.
The 49th Precinct, 49th Precinct Community Council, Community Baord 11 and Neighborhood Development Initiatives Corp. co-hosted the 36th annual National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 6 at Comras Mall. The police-community partnership celebration featured live music by Just Nuts Party Band, dancers, amusement rides, slushies and cotton candy, a 50/50 raffle and free information on crime prevention, community organizations and homeland security.
Captain Michael Corbett, 49th Precinct executive officer, thanked everyone for attending this year’s National Night Out Against Crime at Comras Mall.

Just Nuts gave a rocking musical performance during the festivities.
Local youth enjoyed getting their faces painted by talented artists.
Children eagerly awaited their turn to test out an inflatable playground.
Councilman Gjonaj enjoyed meeting and speaking with residents during the celebration.
