More than 100 volunteers from the Save the Earth from A to Z University volunteer program from the World Mission Society Church of God helped spruce up Clason Point Park in partnership with NYC Parks on Sunday, June 30. The cleanup is part of a social welfare initiative, ‘Reduce Crime Together,’ which university students are carrying out worldwide.

Volunteers clean up the shore of the Long Island Sound.
Volunteer Henry Torres brought up logs and wood that washed up onto the sand in his cleanup efforts.
Volunteer Corinna Bartee showed her spirit for the cause.
Many volunteers were eager to make Clason Point Park shine this summer season.
ASEZ cleanup co-organizer Victor Lozada (front, c) motivated the volunteers.
