The corner of East 183rd Street and Bathgate Avenue will forever be immortalized as ‘Lesandro Junior Guzman-Feliz Way.’ Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. and Councilman Ritchie Torres joined Junior’s parents and the NYPD Explorers on Wednesday, February 27 in formally renaming the corner where the 15-year-old was brutally murdered last June, sparking the #JusticeForJunior movement.

The Lesandro Junior Guzman-Feliz Way street sign was unveiled to the cheers of many in attendance.
Councilman Torres (front, c) spoke highly of Junior’s service to the community.
The NYPD Explorers paid their respects to Junior at his memorial mural.

The NYPD Explorers mourned the loss of their partner Junior.
