Bronx bomb making brothers may be connected to Dark Web cell

The FBI and NYPD found nearly 30 pounds of bomb making materials in the apartment of Christian and Tyler Toro in Pelham Parkway on Thursday, February 15.

Handwriting found on an index card recovered by law enforcement might indicate the brothers have connections to a cell within the dark web.

“UNDER THE FULL MOON THE SMALL ONES WILL KNOW TERROR,” was also tweeted by the subversive dark web group Zeaux CXT.

An informed reader explained that Zeaux CXT (possibly translated to ‘THE_UNCLE’) is “a group of accounts involved in a codeweb that expands across various platforms, has existed since 2009 and seems to organize malicious activities,” said the reader.

Themes on the accounts are: serial killers; Pelzer, SC; child abuse; torture; cannibalism; worship of the Roman god Saturn; coding and MK-Ultra government mind control device conspiracy theories.

The code used appears to be a random scrambling of letter sequences, inverted colors, symbols and handwritten notes.

“Only a handful of individuals worldwide knows the decoded meaning of “under the full moon the small ones will know terror,” said the reader.

The full moon is possibly in reference to the blood moon of three weeks ago.

Historically, blood moons have been connected to apocalyptic and ominous prophecies.

One of the two brothers, Christian taught at Harlem Prep High School, where his work laptop contained a downloaded book about making explosives.

He had allegedly paid students to break apart fireworks to store powder from their inside.

A bomb threat to Harlem Prep was called in early December of last year, resulting the arrest of a student, prompting Toro to resign.

The school tipped off law enforcement after discovering the explosives manual on Toro’s computer.

Christian Toro is charged with one count of unlawfully manufacturing a destructive device and one count of distribution of explosive materials to a minor.

Tyler Toro is charged with one count of unlawfully manufacturing a destructive device.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and had not ended just because someone was in custody.

Officials also said there was no continued threat to the city.

A bail hearing for Christian Toro was set for Wednesday, February 21 and no date has been set for Tyler Toro.

A preliminary hearing date for both brothers is set for Monday, March 19.

Christian was previously arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl on Wednesday, January 31, the same night of the blood moon.
