The Bronx’s own ‘City Within a City,’ Co-op City commemorated its 50th anniversary with a prestigious gala celebration on Monday, December 10 at Marina del Rey Caterers.

The event honored longtime Co-op City residents Riverbay Corporation’s Rodney Saunders, second vice president; Bernard Cylich, first vice president and Linda Berk, president for their dedicated service to the community.

Bill and Diana Gordon had a great time celebrating at the historic event!
Neva Shillingford–King (l) and Councilman Andy King joined everyone at the ceremony.
Carolyne Clark (l) and Wanda Bailey lived almost their entire lives in Co-op City.
