Celebrating its 27th year, the New York Botanical Garden’s Holiday Train Show showcased Lower Manhattan during a media preview on Monday, November 19. This year’s edition included replicas of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, One World Trade Center and Battery Maritime Building with two vintage ferry boats. This year’s extravaganza included One World Trade Center as its newest centerpiece.
Many NYC landmarks were recreated using bark, leaves and other natural materials.
A trolley traversed through the lush landscape.
G-scale model locomotives traveled through a tunnel underneath a remarkable recreation of Penn Station.
Trains and locomotives snaked around Grand Central Terminal.
