On Monday, November 19, the New York City & Vicinity District Council of Carpenters hosted a Turkey Drive in the south Bronx in coordination with Assemblyman Marcos Crespo to give a special Thanksgiving meal to families in need. The District Council donated 170 turkeys for families in the south Bronx and all other food items donated to be distributed by Assemblywoman Karines Reyes’ office on Wednesday, November 21 before the holiday.
