Senator Gustavo Rivera and Assemblyman Michael Blake held a Veterans’ Thanksgiving Celebration on Tuesday, November 20 at Lehman College. The Thanksgiving feast honored local veterans in uniform who continue to dedicate their lives for the greater good of our nation.
Joelle Lynch, Tree Army co-founder, was honored for employing local veterans in tree removal.

A veteran wore a vest honoring those who served in Vietnam and Operation Desert Storm.
Elected officials and local veterans had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving together.
