40 Precinct

Saturday, November 17 at 6:56 a.m. -- Police are investigating a fatal collision after responding to a 911 call of a vehicle collision on the Major Deegan Expressway’s south-bound lanes near Brook Avenue. An adult woman was found unresponsive inside her 2003 Ford van and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Emergency Medical Service. Three passengers inside the van were taken to Lincoln Hospital in critical and stable conditions. A preliminary investigation found that 30-year-old driver of the Ford Econoline van was travelling on the Major Deegan when the van collided with a 2014 Volvo Tractor. The 42-year-old man who was driving the Volvo truck remained at the scene and was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

41 Precinct

Sunday, November 18 at 1:45 p.m -- Cops received a report of a shooting incident they are considering a reckless endangerment case after an unidentified man was seen firing shots from a gun at a group of individuals. The incident occurred near Southern Boulevard and East 163rd Street. The person wanted for questioning is a man with a medium build who is approximately six-feet-tall. He was last seen wearing white sneakers, a blue and orange du-rag, a dark colored jacket with patches and dark colored pants.

42 Precinct

Sunday, November 4 at 10:22 p.m. -- Cops got a report of two individuals who entered a clothing store at 961 E. 174th Street and began to remove assorted sneakers and boots from inside. A security guard tried to stop the individuals. At that point one of the individuals produced a knife and swung at the security guard. One of the individuals is a light skin man, between 30 and 35-years-old, wearing a black hat with yellow letters and a black coat. The second individual is a light skin man between 25 and 30-years-old who was wearing a gray hat and an army green coat.

46 Precinct

Saturday, November 17 at 8:08 a.m. -- Police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious infant at 1873 Andrews Avenue. When they arrived on the scene, they found a one-month-old female infant who was unresponsive. EMS responded and took the infant to Bronx Lebanon Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The investigation is ongoing. The medical examiner will determine the infant’s cause of death.

48 Precinct

Wednesday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. -- Cops responded to a 911 call of a auto collision that involved a pedestrian struck on Southern Boulevard at Elsmere Place. When the police officers got to the scene they found a 52-year-old pedestrian lying on the roadway with severe head trauma. EMS took the man to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he died the next day. Further investigation by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad found that a 2002 Honda Odyssey, operated by a 58-year-old man, was travelling on Southern Boulevard in the left lane. As the minivan crossed Elsmere Place with the green light in its favor it hit the man who was crossing Southern Boulevard. When he was hit, the pedestrian was thrown to the roadway. The operator of the Honda remained at the scene.
