Police responded to a report of an overturned vehicle on Sunday, October 21 at 6 a.m. in front of 1721 Hobart Avenue between Buhre and Roberts avenues. According to police, the driver of the jeep stated that he was trying to avoid hitting a skunk that was crossing the street and lost control of his vehicle. The jeep struck a parked Nissan Rogue in the rear and passenger side before overturning. The driver did not sustain any visible injuries, however his Jeep sustained damage. No arrests or summonses were issued following the incident.
