Famed comedian Kevin Hart was awarded the City Council Humanitarian and Arts Award on Thursday, September 27 at Madison Square Garden. The award was presented by Councilman Andy King who in conjunction with the Black, Latino and Asian Caucus; Mayor de Blasio’s Office, Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer and local elected officials named September 27, 2018 ‘Kevin Hart Appreciation Day’ for NYC, in front of an audience of 19,000 fans.
