Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. and Abriendo Brecha International co-hosted the annual Ecuadorian Heritage Celebration on Thursday, September 20 at Bronx County Building Veterans’ Memorial Hall.
The event recognizing the country’s culture and individuals who have contributed to NYC and the Bronx honored Luis Quishpi, governor of the province of Cañar; entrepreneur Walter Cullispuma; Luis Montalvo, Local 79 Executive Board member and Jorge Merchan, Comité Civico Ecuatoriano president.
