44 Precinct

Thursday, December 28 at 2:54 p.m. — Cops received a report of a burglary in an apartment located near Jerome Avenue and Anderson Avenue. Four male individuals, about 20-25 years of age, medium complexion, entered the apartment of a 63-year-old deceased male, through the first floor window. Once inside, the indivuals removed a television and fled the scene. Two of the individuals were last seen wearing one navy fur trimmed coat and one black fur trimmed coat, black sneakers and black boots. The other two individuals were last seen wearing a green coat and a navy coat with gray and dark colored sweat pants, blue/gray sneakers and black boots.

Wednesday, January 3 at 6:30 p.m. — Cops received a report of an assault in an apartment building located on Walton Avenue. Four unknown individuals, described as two Black and two Hispanic males, approached an apartment door inside the building and began knowcking on it. A female occupant answered the door and was engaged in a brief discussion with the individuals then two of the males diplayed firearms and began firing toward the door. A 34-year-old male occupant inside the apartment was shot in the right thigh and transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. No other injuries were reported. The individuals were last seen wearing a gray jacket, a blue jacket, a bubble jacket, and a dark colored jacket.

45 Precinct

Thursday, December 14 at 3:00 a.m. — Cops received a report of a burglary at Ipex Plumbing and Heating facility located at 2266 Tillotson Avenue. An individual, described as Black, 5’8” and 200 pounds, gained entry to the property by clipping a lock. Once inside, the individual removed power tools and a back pack containing office documents before fleeing through a fence opening. The individual was last seen wearing a light colored heavy jacket, black jeans, black boots, a black winter hat, and eyeglasses.

46 Precinct

Friday, December 29 at 11:45 p.m. — Cops received a report of a robbery in the Ryer Parking garage located at 2346 Ryer Avenue. One individual approached a 55-year-old employee working in the garage, displayed a firearm and demanded money. A second individual entered the 55-year-old’s office and looked for money. No injuries were reported but the individuals removed $520 in cash and a cellphone and fled the location in a vehicle. One of the individuals was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket, blue jeans, gray sneakers and a blue mask. The second individual was last seen wearing a red bubble coat, black jeans and red sneakers.

52 Precinct

Thursday, January 4 at 12:48 p.m. — Cops received a report of a robbery at the Smoke Zone smoke shop at 394 E. Bedford Park Boulevard. One male individual displayed a black firearm while a second male individual went behind the counter, removed about $200 from the register and went through a 32-year-old male victim’s pockets demanding his cell phone. The 32-year-old refused and the two individuals fled southbound on foot along Webster Avenue. No injuries were reported. One individual was described as Black, wearing a black coat, blue jeans, gray hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, and white and black Nike sneakers. The second individual was described as Hispanic, wearing a black and camouflage coat, black scarf, black gloves, and a Carhart hat.
