Senator Jeff Klein and New York Botanical Garden green thumbs celebrated the launch of this year’s series of free home gardening programs on Sunday, March 19.
This year’s first ‘The Fundamentals of Gardening’ class featuring Ann Perkowski, Lady Clippers Inc. founder and owner, offering tips and tricks on pruning a variety of shrubs and trees including evergreens, deciduous tree and woody plants.
The series concludes on Sunday, April 2 with a class on gardening fundamentals hosted by NYBG Gardening Program coordinator Daryl Beyers.
