Bharati Dance Academy in collaboration with Sanjay Pallets, Melanie’s Restaurant and BronxNet honored Manuel Diana, a professional dancer and choreographer, with a $500 check on Wednesday, July 6 at 1248 Castle Hill Avenue. As part of the Connecting Borders Initiative with the Bharati Dance Academy and the Bharati Foundation, organizations and community members recognized Diana’s time, dedication and commitment in interning at BronxNet, performing at various Bronx events and street festivals and volunteering his time with several local organizations. Diana will return to his native Puerto Rico to continue his studies.
