Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr., the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation and the Business Initiative Corporation of New York hosted the 18th Annual Bronx Bankers Breakfast on Friday, May 6 at the Villa Barone Manor.

As part of the various Bronx Week festivities slated for the borough, this year’s edition featured keynote speaker NYS Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul and over 400 financial leaders, business owners, real estate brokers, accountants, attorneys and technical assistance providers celebrating the ‘If it’s good for the Bronx, it’s good for New York’ theme.

To commemorate this special occasion, Diaz and the BICNY honored TD Bank, Popular Community Bank, Spring Bank and U.S. Small Business Administration New York District Counsel Celeste Kaptur.
