Stand Up to Violence conducted a Thursday, March 24 community response rally at Rosedale and Story avenues to address the Thursday, March 17 shooting death of a 23-year-old man outside the Monroe Houses and a Sunday, March 20 shooting which resulted in a person being injured on Boynton Avenue. The groups consisting of local elected officials, community leaders, council and clergy members, neighbors and SUV supporters met at the Rosedale and Story avenues murder site before marching to the Boynton Avenue shooting location.
