40 Precinct

Monday, March 7, 7:57 a.m. --Cops responded to a 911 call for an assault in progress at 313 E. 141st Street. They found a 34-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man both dead form multiple stab wounds. A knife was found at the scene and an investigation is underway.

43 Precinct

Saturday, March 5, 4:30 a.m. -- Three plain clothes officers in the precinct made a good gun arrest during a routine traffic stop near White Plains Road and Bruckner Boulevard. As they waited for a light to turn green, they saw a white Toyota traveling on Bruckner Boulevard and changing lanes without signaling. The officers followed the car, containing three people, and pulling it over nearby. When the officers approached the livery sedan, they saw a passenger, who was seated behind the front passenger’s seat abruptly bend forward and sit back up. When one of the cops shined a flashlight into the car, they saw a portion of a gun under the rear of the front seat. The occupants of the car were taken into custody without incident, and a loaded and defaced Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun was recovered.

45 Precinct

Sunday, March 6, 11:29 a.m. -- Police raced to the scene of a fatal car crash near Middletown Road and Westchester Avenue. An 81-year-old man expired at Jacobi Medical Center after he suffered severe head trauma when his 2015 Buick collided into an el train pillar. An investigation by the NYPD’s Highway Collision Investigation Squad is being conducted.

46 Precinct

Friday, February 19, 5:00 p.m. -- A Hispanic woman, approximately 17-years-old and weighing 190 pounds, ripped off and assaulted another woman inside of a McDonald’s restaurant. She approached the 23-year-old victim, grabbing the cell phone out of her hand and scratching her in the face, before taking off and fleeing the location with a stolen iPhone 6. The suspect was last seen wearing a black waist-length jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Monday, March 7, 4:10 a.m. -- A violent robbery occurred in front of 301 E. Burnside Avenue when three suspects assaulted a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old man with a bottle and knife. During the scuffle, one of the victim’s gold chain was taken. The two victims suffered cuts to the face, neck, head, arm and back. The suspects fled the scene through a nearby park.
