Senator Jeff Klein presented participants with medals at the First Annual Throggs Neck Houses Football Tournament at Ferry Point Park on Sunday, December 13. The event sought to bring together residents of the New York City Housing Authority Development with the law enforcement personnel they serve. NYCHA, the Throggs Neck Houses Residents’ Council, the 45th Precinct, Housing Police #8 and New York City Transit Police all played in the day-long games.
