Graduation really is a rewarding experience in more ways than one. On Saturday, June 20, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 3-East Bronx, awarded $2,300 in scholarships to 11 students who graduated Catholic elementary school this past June 12 and 13 at the garden adjacent to Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Pelham Bay. Bob Nolan, county president; Roger Fahey, Commodore Barry Medal coordinator congratulated the students on their academic achievements and their families for their continued support of their sons.
