Youth Leaders on the Move, a student and parent-led organization that helps young people set high goals and attain them, held a community breakfast at the Christopher Columbus Educational Campus on Monday, October 27.

The five schools on the educational campus and Youth Leaders on the Move held the breakfast in a call for unity, to get acquainted, thank the community for their support and encourage the students.

Among the attendees were dignitaries from the political and educational scene in the borough. These included District Attorney Robert Johnson, Senator Gustavo Rivera, Assemblyman Victor Pichardo, Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj, Assemblyman-elect Michael Blake, borough Department of Education High School Superintendant for Districts 8,9, and 11 Carron Staple, and the principals from schools located on the campus.
