Scanlan Community Reaches Out To Haiti

After the Haiti’s devastating earthquake, the Scanlan community joined together to collect money, clothes and food to personally be brought down to the people of Haiti by their school Nurse, Sr. Valorie Lordi, a Dominican Sister of Sparkill.With the help of their principal, Sr. Annmarie Fisher and the members of the various clubs, Sr. Valorie embarked on her journey to Haiti on February 12 with a suitcase packed with items to be distributed to the people of Haiti and money to help the people who are in such deep need for medical attention and food.
