It was Octoberfest and Columbus Day combined at Cintron Field, as the weather agreed with the league playing a full schedule. The highlights are follows:

Yachtsmen from Locust Point “out-exercised” the staff at Fusion Fitness, 4-0. On the bridge were captain, Carlos Mercado (3) and first mate, Brandon Gray (1). The swabbies were Michael Janney, Cristos Katechis and Kevin Kelleher. Holding the shutout in the net were Ryan Daly and Brandon Gray, serving double duty.

The countermen and kitchen staff from Crosstown Diner defeated Al-Boro Security, in a tight one, 1-0. Alfred Begira had the lone goal of the match, with offensive help from Zenaida Perez and Christopher Guarino. Clearing the tables were Daniello Teran, Anthony Cacace and Mateo Nonis.

Taxes were due and collected by NCJA Income Tax from Dr Ken Gonoud, 4-1. The leading accountants were Danny Kimmel (2), Francisco Perez (1) and Justin Locke (1). Following the tax code were John Byrne and Jonathan Cerini. The erasers and shredderzs were handled by Ryan McCann, JD Dundon and Brendan Tighe.

Soma Health Club continued collecting one point a week tieing Porco Public Adjusting, 1-1. Aidin Pelinkovic scored the only goal for Soma. Christopher Wells, Emily Castro and Vincent Jones controlled the midfield, while Arben Nocaj and Aine Sheehan ,with two great saves controlledm the defensive end.

The contractors outmanaged the management company,as C I Contracting defeated LD Management, 5-0. The scoring was shared equally by Leo Kibler, Michael Kroner, Ashley Pacheco, Daniella Zirpolo and Dino Esposito. Jonathan Neill had numerous assists with help from Angelina Sanabria, Kevin Kocovic and Justin Ortiz. The fullback line was led by Emily Herrera (standout performance ), Daniella Pacheco and goalie tandem, James Leidy and Patrick Baumgardner.

Franchise Contractors had their first victory of the season over Ann Clair Catering, 1-0. The game winner was scored by Brandon Waldron, with offensive help from Andrew Gowareck, Anthony Marks and Xavier Sanchez. Strong “D” from Ryan Leviness, Kaitlyn Cruz and Josph Sanchez. The shutout was held by Julian Zefi.

The Knights from St Benedict out jousted American A-1 Auto, 4-0. Armed with lances were Arton Biberas (2), Joe Healy (1) and Alx Kosco (1). The squires and pages were Taylor Russin, Robert Schwartz, Kalongi Grayman and Mattia Lanza. On the parapets were Joe Mazza, Antonio Cipollo and Giovanna Schettino. Pitching a shout was Marco Trombetta.

Westchester-Bronx OB/GYN delivered triplets defeating Captain Mike’s, 3-1. In the delivery room were Tara Guarino, Riana Perduzzo and Anna Savino. The nursing staff were Maryellen Doino, Gina Savarino and Cristina Todino. The recovery rom was manned by Melissa Kenex, Brittany Peters and Samantha Bruno.

The sportsters from Side Street played the mariners from S & J to a 2-2 tie. Scoring for S & J were Steven Von Kessel and Angelo Gugliara. The “O” was carried by Chris Von Kessel, Emmitt Foxe and Chris Serrano. The alley was covered by Nicholas Gjonaj and Ethan O’Byrne.

Silvestri Carpet “tacked down” McDonald’s, 5-1. The lone goal for Mickey D’s was scored by Matthew Kahn with other strong performances by Bryanna Morales, Jessica Piazza, Kevin Peterzs and Zachary Smith.

Finest Auto Body “froze out” ABCO Refrigeration, 5-1. Ryan DeLuca scored his first goal ever and added it to Alyssa Hill’s hat trick + 1. Other stellar performances from Lorenzo Jennison, Teresa Walsh and Dominic Arciolo.

The Magnificent Seven from McDonald’s worked as a team defeating 5 J’s Auto, 5-1. The top gunslingers were Matthew Kahn (4) and Kevin Peters (1). Bringing the bullets were Bryanna Morales, Jessica Piazza and Veronica O’Brien. Building the defensive wall around the village were Tommy Forte and Wiliam Postiada.

The Knights of St Benedict’s had a great weekend with a second shutout over ABCO Refrigeration, 5-0. On their chargers were Arton Biberas (2), Joseph Healy (1), Kalongi Grayman(1) and Taylor Russin (1). Sharpening the swords were Alex Kosko, Antonio Cipollone, Joseph Mazza and Robert Schwartz. Defending the castle were Dante Romno and Mattia Lanza. Marco Trombetta had his second shutout.

Barino’s Market squeaked past Edgewater AA, 1-0. Pushing the ball were Steven Tartaglia and Katherine Carew, which to the only goal by Michael Crorkin. The “D”was held by Skylar Cullen, sweeper, Kyle Brandsetter and the goalie tandem, Bobby Gilbert & Nico Sacco.

Crosstown Diner had another shutout over American A-1, 5-0. Christopher Guarino, Adrian Kuka and Alfred Begirai, with the hat trick scored. Other strong showings from Dianiello Teran, Liam Tighe and Jacob Lopez.

F & J Wilson played Advance Solutions to a tough fought 2-2 tie. The scoring for F & J came fromEnrique Concepcion and Gabriella Giordano, who assisted on the other goal. The other pushers were Deborah Teran, Catherine Ficke, Chelsea Hernandez. The “D” was held by Frank Mennona and goalie, Vincent Palazzolo.

Dr Ken Gonoud “adjusted the spines” of the mariners at S & J Marine, 1-0. The lone goal of the match scored by Xavier Soto Burgess, with the offensive push from Nick Leone, Joseph Silvestri, Cirran Flattery and Declan Casey. Strong defensive play from Ethan and Caleb Alonzo, Frecdy Carmono and Jason Luciano. Even in defeat strong performances from Chris Von Kessel, Emmit Foxe, chris Serrano, David Moran and Matt Aquino.

McNulty’s F.P. closed the Law office of T. Rodriquez, 3-0. Top players for McNulty’s were Brian Kimmel (2), Cole Wiehler (1) and on D, Nicky Kola. Good efforts from T. Rodriguez were Georgia Argyros and Jonathan Robledo Malinis.
