Fordham University senior defensive back James Crockett was named Honorable Mention Preseason All-America by the College Sporting News. This is the second preseason All-America honor received by Crockett who was also was given the accolade from Phil Steele’s College Football Preview. The 37-year coaching veteran was an assistant at Marist when the Red Foxes won the MAAC Championship and advanced to the NCAA tournament in 2006 and has held different jobs on the collegiate and high-school level.
