Saturday, January 30, 5:10 a.m. - A horrific assault occurred at a subway station when a male Hispanic, approximately 50-years-old and 250 pounds, assaulted a 51-year-old woman. The victim was waiting for the northbound 2 IRT train at Westchester Avenue and Simpson Street when the suspect started hitting her in the train station. He hit her with a closed fist on the face and on other parts of her body. The suspect is light-skinned and just shy of six feet tall, according to police.
