Nature art has beneficial effects

Through the Foundation for Photo/Art in Hospitals, a non-profit organization dedicated to placing colorful, soothing photographs of nature and flowers in health care facilities around the world, individuals with developmental disabilities, served at AHRC Bronx Mayflower Adult Day Center (ADC), were given the opportunity to showcase their photos inside Jacobi Medical Center. Bronx Arts Ensemble presents 2nd festival

The Bronx Arts Ensemble will present its 2nd Annual Festival Of The Arts, a competition and performance showcasing talented students in its arts-in-education programs in Bronx schools, on Wed., June 10 at 3:30 pm in the Lovinger Theatre at Lehman College, 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West, featuring a ballroom dance competition and performances by violin, African drumming, African dance, Tap, Hip-Hop, Rock Band, and chorus students. BCA offers free Culture Trolley

The Bronx Council on the Arts presents an afternoon of free trolley rides and attractions as Culture Trolley Saturdays returns on June 6 with ¡VIVA Cultura! – A Celebration of Puerto Rican Heritage in the Bronx. Co-produced and sponsored by Wally Edgecombe and the Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture, the trolley will shuttle people from noon to 6 p.m., along its afternoon route. Read more…
