Car buffs flock to orchard beach show

The 8th Annual Orchard Beach Classic Car & Motorcycle Show was held at the Orchard Beach parking lot on Sunday, September 20. It was by far the best and busiest year yet as an awesome contingent of leather-clad bikers sped for the annual morning Memorial Run to Ground Zero. Vince (Johnny Sack) Curtola and Vincent (Big Pussy) Pastore of The Sopranos; Goumba Johnny (KTU); Joe Causi (WCBS); and Jimmy (Mouth from the South) Hart signed autograph and posed for photos. Mind Builders creative arts holds fundraiser, reunion

On Saturday, September 20, the Alumni of Mind Builder Creative Arts Center, located on 3415 Olinville Avenue, held a fundraiser and reunion. The event showcased the youth and adults who have used Mind Builder to enhance their artistic ability in the areas of dance, theater, and music for the past 30 years.
