Online: WNYC Book Club: The Vanishing Half
We know that New Yorkers need to feel a sense of community and fun, even as we remain apart. And that’s why we are excited to announce that The New York Public Library is partnering with WNYC to present a virtual stay-at-home book club experience!
Each month, we will read a new title leading up to a live conversation between the author and Alison Stewart, host of WNYC’s All of It.
This month we are reading and discussing The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett, a stunning new novel about twin sisters, inseparable as children, who ultimately choose to live in two very different worlds, one black and one white.
Here’s how it works:
1. Download your copy of The Vanishing Half on our free e-reader app SimplyE:
