Bronx River Tibbets Brook Walk: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx
Enjoy a beautiful 14.5-mile trail walk starting in the Bronx and ending at White Plains. Led by Ken Kurland, this event is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, and includes several points to shorten the mileage and catch a train back to Grand Central. Soul Festival 2022: 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Unity Park
Award-winning Morrisania Band Project is hosting an afternoon of a soul music fest at Unity Park. Sponsored by the by Bronx Council on the Arts, GREEN/ARTS LIVE NYC, and Citizens Committee for New York City, this event is free and open to the public. Read more about this event here.
Silent Disco: 12 p.m.-3 p.m. at the Poe Park Visitor Center
NYC parks will host a silent disco where participants can dance the afternoon away while enjoying their favorite music through headphones. Pumpkin Carving Face-Off: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the New York Botanical Garden
