The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation hosted its eighth annual Runyon 5K on Sunday, August 21 at Yankee Stadium with all funds raised directly supporting innovative cancer research. The course navigated through the ballpark’s concourse and ramps between levels. Participants appeared on the centerfield video board as they ran two laps around the warning track circling the field and met with scientists funded by Damon Runyon.
