Police responded to a late night car crash last week in Parkchester. According to a NYPD spokesman, 43rd Precinct police responded to a motor vehicle collision at Metropolitan Avenue and Grant Circle on Thursday, August 3 at 11 p.m. Upon arrival, police observed a 36-year-old woman operating a 2005 Toyota Camry which had collided into a metal fence across 1557 Metropolitan Avenue and Pine Drive. EMS responded and both driver and a 31-year-old passenger refused medical attention. A preliminary investigation revealed that the operator of the Toyota Camry attempted to make a turn, but lost control and collided into the fence located on an island in between lanes. No arrests were made following this incident. Photo by Edwin Soto
