Irish eyes weren’t the only ones smiling this year’s Throggs Neck St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Celebrating 19 years, the annual neighborhood parade saw more Celtic-clad marchers and bands trekking down East Tremont Avenue than you could shake a shillelagh at on Sunday, March 12!

Groups composed of local elected officials, schools, the FDNY, pipe and drum bands, community organizations and families representing this year’s honorary grand marshals journeyed down the route which sported a fresh green median and massive shamrock as thousands of Bronxites from all over the borough cheered from the sidelines.
