40 Precinct

Monday, February 6 at 3:00 p.m. — A robbery was recorded in the precinct when two black men approached a 21-year-old victim who was inside of St. Mary’s Park. They took out a gun. Brandishing the weapon, the two individuals demanding the man’s bicycle. They took the bike before fleeing in opposite directions.

Sunday, March 5 at 4:30 p.m. — Three individuals entered a barbershop at 830 Westchester Avenue with guns and demanded that the people inside hand over their wallets. The three black men took a 48-year-old man’s wallet. The victim was getting a haircut. The three men fled the scene in a Ford Fusion.

43 Precinct

Tuesday, February 28 at 7:20 a.m. — Two men entered a gas station at 688 E. Gun Hill Road and approached the coffee counter. Once at the counter they became loud and obnoxious. When an employee asked the pair to leave, he was punched in the face. The two male Hispanics, who are both about five feet, six inches tall, fled the scene. The victim refused medical attention. The individuals both have brown hair. One is 23-years-old and the other is 17-years-old.

49 Precinct

Friday, February 24 at 7:43 a.m.– A black man who is almost six-feet tall snatched the cell phone of a 41-year-old woman who was traveling northbound on a subway train. The crime occurred as the train reached the White Plains Road and the Allerton Avenue subway station. The phone was taken right out of her hand. The man fled the train with the woman in pursuit. Inside the station, the victim pushed the man to the ground, but then he got up and pushed her to the ground before fleeing the train station.

He was last seen wearing dark sunglasses, black pants, white sneakers and dark coat. He had a dark complexion.
