New York City’s first skate park received some much needed spring cleaning. Hundreds of Bronx families and children rolled up their sleeves to help restore Mullaly Bike Park to its former glory on Saturday, May 21 as part of a citywide ‘It’s My Park’ effort to revitalize neighborhood parks across the five boroughs. Hosted by City Parks Foundation and NYC Parks, volunteers from the Mullaly Bike Park group helped paint existing skate ramps, constructed brand new ramps and tidied up the skating grounds and surrounding areas.
