All aboard! The New York Botanical Garden hosted a special Monday, November 16 media preview for its classic ‘Holiday Train Show’ featuring enchanting model trains zipping through a display composed of 150 New York landmarks expertly recreated by designer Paul Busse’s team at Applied Imagination using bark, leaves and other natural materials all underneath of the twinkling glow of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. This year’s exhibition includes 3,000 square feet of additional exhibition space for dozens of new trains, bridges and tracks; a captivating short film detailing the show’s behind-the-scenes magic and a stunning multisensory finale of light and sound. The Holiday Train Show opened to the public this past Saturday, November 21 and will keep on chugging along until Monday, January 18. For more information, visit www.nybg.org/hts15.
