The New York Botanical Garden hosted The Edible Academy Family Garden Picnic, a celebration of organic vegetable gardening and cooking, on Sunday, September 27. Taking place in the Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden, the afternoon of outdoor discovery featured special guests Chef Carla Hall, co-host of ABC’s The Chew, and chefs from Mario Batali restaurants: Andy Nusser and Anthony Sasso. The attendees were treated to a picnic and live cooking demonstrations.
