VISIONS Services for Blind

VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired will host its 17th Annual Pamela Schneider Luncheon and Award Ceremony on March 4 at the F&J Pine Restaurant at 1913 Bronxdale Avenue.

Hosted by the VISIONS Bronx Advisory Board, this year’s luncheon will honor: Beatrice Castiglia Catullo, R.A.I.N. Inc.; Dr. Arthur Wolstein; Frank Senior, the Lavelle Fund for the Blind; and Dr. Martin Mayers, Bronx Lebanon Medical Center. Tickets for the Luncheon are $80 or $45 for the visually impaired.

VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired is an 84 year old nonprofit rehabilitation and social service organization that provides programs and services each year for over 5,000 blind or visually impaired people. VISIONS services are free and are available to individuals in all five boroughs.

The Bronx Advisory Board is composed of community members who are instrumental in working to increase awareness, referrals and fundraising.
