Prestige Window, Doors & Cabinets, a fixture in the Bronx business community for 15 years and supplier to both the public and contractors, held a party and ribbon cutting to celebrate the
Presige’s location at 2150 Westchester Avenue is a Monda Factory Direct Store, carrying the company’s signature vinyl and aluminum windows and doors. The showroom will allow the public to shop in a pleasant atmosphere.
Monda manufactures their windows in the New York and Chicago metro area, including in Corona, Queens. They also import for stores selling factory direct.
“We have been selling windows for the past 15 years,” said Winnie Greco, vice-president and partner in Prestige Window, Doors & Cabinets. “Right now we want to sell directly to our customers: home owners, builders, developers, and contractors. By cutting out the middle-man and selling directly in our own stores we can offer really good prices.”
The public was invited to the opening. The party in the back of the store included food and drink.
In attendance were representatives from Monda Windows & Doors, the manufacturer.
“The Bronx is such a big market for us – which is why we are excited to work with Prestige in this latest venture,” said Dancy Lin, of Monda.
Julius Wilson, the sales manager for Prestige, sees his job as helping his customers achieve part of the American dream.
“Working with Prestige gives us the opportunity to work with home owners and help them pursue the American dream by renovating their homes,” Wilson said. “We are providing them with good products at affordable prices. For too many years, homeowners and building managers have been taken advantage of with inferior windows and doors.”
Shelly Wang, another vice-president and partner at Prestige, said that the new store will give the public a chance to actually see the energy-saving products.
“Every business has to keep their door open, and have a nice place where the customers can come,” Wang said. “We will now be able to offer home owners an inviting place to come and shop.”
