The Briarwood Organization and its partners announce that applications of interest are now being accepted for The Solara: 160 magnificent new cooperative apartments representing the largest affordable home ownership project in the Concourse section. The one, two and three-bedroom units are designed for maximum space and comfort, offering homeowners an elegant living environment at a reasonable cost.

According to Vincent L. Riso, principal of the Briarwood Organization, “The project will add momentum to the renaissance already well under way on and near the Grand Concourse in the Bronx.” The Solara is part of Mayor Bloomberg’s and the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development Commissioner Shaun Donovan’s 165,000-unt New Housing Marketplace Plan. The Solara is being developed in conjunction with the Borough President Adolfo Carrion, Jr., as well as city and state programs.

Two informational seminars will be held.

The Solara is an exceptionally designed cooperative complex that sets the standard for uptown home ownership. The 160 new apartments offer elegant living at a reasonable price. Investing in the Solara also unlocks a world of recreation and leisure with its unique facilities, ranging from in-house fitness centers to multi-purpose tenant spaces to private outdoor sitting areas. The cooperative complex is situated in the historic Concourse section, a vibrant and exciting community with an array of shopping, entertainment and cultural destinations.
