Children are encouraged to explore science through slides, seesaws, climbing webs, a water play area, sand boxes, and more, weather permitting. 9:30 am–5 pm.

Shoot, pitch, score and learn to hone your sportsmanship skills. Register on line. 10 am–6 pm.

The newly renovated area is open and features new species, new exhibits , and a domestic petting zoo. 10 am – 5 pm.

A beautiful, huge crystal nautilus shell with 30 grand luminescent fish, takes riders on an aquatic journey. 10 am to 10 pm.

Grab a book and enjoy the outdoors with a book; this is part of the Summer Reading program. 11 am – 11:30 am.

Locally grown produce from the very own Friends’ Compost and Garden Site, tended to by the Garden Crew and the Kids Garden Crew. Noon to 7 pm.

Tweens and teens learn the basics of wiffle ball and ultimate frisbee, including lots of game play. Drop in anytime. 2 pm to 3:30 pm.

Children 10 years and older learn the basics of still life pencil drawing, including volume, tone, value, and sketching. 2–3:30 pm.

Teens 13 to 17 years old learn the basics. 6 pm to 7:30 pm.
