For over 100 years the Police Athletic League has provided safe places to play and learn through it’s Summer Playstreets Program. City streets and other public areas, including playgrounds and schools create a safe environment where youngsters play traditional sidewalk games, including Double Dutch jump rope, Hopscotch, Nok Hockey, and basketball. 9 am – 5 pm.

Children are encouraged to explore science through slides, seesaws, climbing webs, a water play area, sand boxes, and more, weather permitting. 9:30 am–5 pm.

Shoot, pitch, score and learn to hone your sportsmanship skills. Register on line. 10 am–6 pm.

The newly renovated area is open and features new species, new exhibits , and a domestic petting zoo. 10 am – 5 pm.

Children listen to an interactive story with songs, and poems followed by a craft and activity related to the reading.For toddlers and pre-schoolers. 10 am–10:45 am.

Watch as Lucky Bob juggles boxes, spins balls, reads minds and turns a volunteer into a magician. 10:30 am.

Make holiday arts and crafts. 2–3:30 pm.
