All-Bronx Girl’s Soccer Honors

Two of the Bronx’s top girl’s soccer programs fell just short of finishing fantastic seasons with championships. Bronx Science could not claim a second straight PSAL Class A title when it fell to rival Beacon in the title game after an extended shootout. Riverdale also pushed its NYSAISAA championship game past regulation before dropping a 1-0 overtime decision to Holy Child. Read more…

All-Bronx Boys Soccer Honors

No citywide titles were won in the Bronx this season, but that doesn’t take away from the fine year on the pitch by the borough’s athletes. Fordham Prep again took home the Archdiocesan crown before falling in the CHSAA Class AA intersectional semifinals. Mott Haven got over the semifinal hump to reach the PSAL Class B title game. Riverdale came on strong late in the season and made it to the NYSAISAA final four. The following are the athletes who distinguished themselves as the best in the Bronx. Read more…
